What I Hate Most About Cancer: Putting my life on pause— pursuing my masters, going back to work, etc. all put on hold

What I Have Learned From Cancer: To take one day at a time and be humble. Just to wake up in the morning has become a blessing.

Cancer Drugs Positives & Negatives: Positives- the chemo is working! Negatives- fatigue, hair loss, occasional nausea

Surgery Description, Dates & Side Effects: Radical orchiectomy of the right testicle- Dec. 28, 2018. I did not show symptoms of TC, other than back pain and then eventually my left flank became sore. According to the ultrasound, there was a small scarring on my right testicle- pathologically speaking, where the testicle has “burnt out” from the cancer, but the cancer had already spread to my lungs and lymph nodes.

Chemotherapy Description, Dates & Side Effects: VIPx4. Etoposide, ifosfomide, cisplatin- four cycles, five days in a row each, every three weeks.
